This Paediatric First Aid course is designed specifically for administering first aid to infants and children either in the workplace or at home.
This course will be delivered by medical professionals who are highly experienced in dealing with paediatric illness and injury in a pre-hospital environment.
The modules that will be covered during this course include:
- Scene assessment & personal safety
- Infant / Child assessment for illness or injury
- Infant / Child CPR & AED use
- Common medical emergencies including seizures, choking & asthma
- Injury management including fractures, burns, bleeding and head injuries
Course Information:
- Course duration is 1 day
- Maximum of 12 learners per course
- Learners will be issued a Paediatric First Aid Certificate which is valid for 2 years from date of issue
